Mobile Game Marketing, Celebrity Likenesses, and the Joker's Book Blockade

October 22, 2021 Aaron & Zak Season 1 Episode 23
Some Patches Required
Mobile Game Marketing, Celebrity Likenesses, and the Joker's Book Blockade
Show Notes

We know that the last few episodes served as a showcase for the guest-heavy format we're looking toward, but we wouldn't judge you for missing the dulcet tones of Zak and Aaron as they agree about things and talk about KFC way too much. Well, Aaron might, but that's more of a reflection on him than you. You're great, and you have great taste in podcasts.

All of that is to say that this week's episode comes without frills. It's just two well-intentioned fellows talking about the frustrating and shady world of mobile game marketing, discussing the use of celebrity likenesses in games like Far Cry 6, and ruminating on the mysterious lack of Dune novels and very specific manga in Austin, TX.

We hope you enjoy.
